I'm sure playing support in 4k average games if you are above 5k is an easy way to lose mmr. If the mmr average is too low you have to pick mid heroes, that is just the way dota works unfortunately.
If the game average isn't awful you can play other roles and climb in mmr. I am not a natural mid player and tend to lose lanes even against players who are worse than me if I try so usually I stick to queuing ranked at peak times to minimize my chances of horrendous 4k average games. When I do get them I tend to suck it up and just go mid anyway, except I just pick stupid heroes like Alchemist or Jugg that don't require that much laning ability to make work.

im a sea player and ive been playing dota for many years and. Ive been playing solo mid since the start of my dota journey and i can reach 5k playing solo mid . But lately ive been playing alot of support esp spamming ET to my way to 6k. Here is where the problem starts, everytime my game would be me ( highest mmr + 4 of 5k flat players or even 4k soemtimes ). now i cant really beat 6k to 7k mid laners that spam arc and so im like going to conitnue supoprot but in the end, those 4k gets raped by 6k arc warden and i cnat really do anything about it. so anyone can advice me howt o continue climbing or this is my highest i can do thx
