so apparently this isn't just the problem with my retarded computer
there must be a follow order key in the setting afair but i'm too lazy to open dota and check right now

M used to be the defaul btton for moving

It means you have the setting turned on that does "force right click deny" , this means you don't have to a left click to deny creeps, so when you right click yourself the creep is actually following a deny order on you

use move the default hotkey is "M"

i don't have this enabled and it still doesn't work for me, must be something else

it goes really strange, the unit follows me for like 300-400 meters and then stops

You need to make the unit PATROL to you, that's how it works now.
