i like to go mek on sf after treads, wand, aquila, bottle it makes you tankier and harder to kill, provides heal for teamfights and you can push easily. After mek you can go sny, bkb, skadi depends on your choice.

treads sb aghs bkb skadi/manta does the job for sf. dmg items or refresher later also work

do the matrice build, going back and forth between souls, stats, passive, while skipping raize all together. aquila treads dom drag lance sb/silver edge manta skadi etc etc.

I think deso builds are the reason for sf's low win rate in pubs. He's just too squishy to be a deso carrier, unless u hav insane positioning and clutch game skills and can predict the enemy's moves, or they're feeding like retards

Deso is awful. I don't even play SF and can tell you that.

Ok just logically and having read advice from much higher mmrs that play sf....

SF has built in dmg with necromastery and aura so you really don't need to build that much more dmg. He has no escapes of defensive abilities though so he desperately needs stats, mobility and often times bkb. That means build things like silver edge, s&y/manta, bkb, hotd, skadi, butterfly, sometimes blink, etc and don't build junk like deso or daedulus rush. Daedulus is good as like a 5th or 6th item.

I don't think there is any one best build on him, it'll be game specific.

Desolator is good item on Shadow FIend. YOu just need to know how to play with it.
