Been having the same problem whenever I face Underlord with me as Anti-Mage or Ember Spirit. With Ember, it's easier because of your flame guard. With Anti-Mage, I usually skill up Mana Break two levels after blink and just trade hits with him until his mana is significantly low.
Normal skill insight, but it's simple and doesn't take a lot of effort to execute.

PS. Remember to get a PMS asap (if you don't already) if you want to manfight him early.

Lately most of the time if I pick carry, I get the solo safelane, and it's been against an Underlord. He can zone me out pretty easily , especially if I pick a melee carry. With AM I had some success burning down his mana early on, but usually it affects my cs since he usually just keeps Firestorm above his wave area.
How do I deal with Underlord in a solo matchup?
