Gaming Mouse in General Discussion

Hey guys, just looking to upgrade my gaming mouse. I have a Razor Gaming Mouse (Wired) that has done well for years, but the sensor is starting to act up. I am inclined to stick with Razor because I know the quality is great. Also, shopping for a wireless one.

Does anyone have a good wireless gaming mouse (not too many buttons!)?

Does anyone have the Razor Mamba, or Razor Naga; could you give a review on it?

    Thanks in advance.

These are the two that I am considering,

zowie mouse if you play shooters, otherwise go for a Rival or Razer

Also Mamba has a very shit sensor, its not worth the money. Actually any Razer mouse outside of DeathAdder is completely garbage

I have the Razer Mamba TE and it's been great for me.

Razer Orochi? It's small, but I find that you get used to it after less than a few days.

Also, I know you're looking for a Wireless mouse, but the Steelseries Sensei and Razer Taipan just deserve an honourable mention. I've been using both for at least more than two years and both of them are just really reliable, simple mice wihout any gimmicks and work well for all types of games.

the sensor on the Mamba TE is jittery and it spins out/loses track if you go at high speeds. Might not be a problem for the casual gamer, but if you want to be good at CSGO for example you need a better mouse

I've had the Mamba TE from 400dpi to 12000dpi (I can't handle the 16000, even across multiple monitors) and never experienced the spin outs/lose track that you mention. Maybe it was specific to your mouse..

I've only used Razer mice: Lachesis, Taipan, Mamba, and Mamba TE. The only one I didn't like for gaming was the wireless Mamba, so I used it for work instead. All of the others have performed just fine.

It's time for not to post a generic animal mouse in this kind of post which appear once a month

Using Razer DeathAdder for like 3 years, and I'm absolutely happy with it. Have no idea why many people shit on razer, this mouse is the only one product of this brand that I had pleasure to use tho.

I have the Razer Naga Hex, and I personally like it a lot. The 6 buttons are laid out in a nice hexagon pattern, and it's quite robust. Been 2 years and I take it around with me everywhere I go with no carry case , haven't seen any trouble. I play on 3000 dpi, but AFAIK it can go up to 6000
