Actually this is really true.
Being an offlaner that constantly applies pressure (even you die a couple of times) to the enemy carries really hinders the enemy carry's farm in that bracket.
WHY?
Because when you are the carry and you are low hp, and you want to have a tangoes or salves, you have to fight for the courier since your teammates sends items to them like boots, wand, etc, THAT CAN BE BOUGHT IN THE SIDESHOP to them.
IN SHORT as a carry in that bracket, you cant send regen items since your dumbfucker teammates will not let you use the courier.
That's why my friend it is better to be aggressive and die a couple of times, than to be passive player in that bracket
Plus most people in 3k already knows how to farm,so you're not creating space for nothing like a typical 1k match would go
Yeah you are pretty much creating space for others and putting pressure on carry. People cant deal with pressure well till like 5k mmr.
Yes 4k will rage in about 3 waves of getting contested and proceed to start arguing with their support lul. H e l p m e b r o
You play axe who is an offlaner supposed to be extremly agressive and hard to bully out of the lane. Soooo yeah nothing special.

Background: calibrated 2.5k solo 2.2k team, now: 3.7k solo 4.2k team.
Recently I've been grinding solo mmr, and noticed that between 3k and 3.7k my winrate went up since I started playing very offensive in the early game as an offlaner. 90% of the time I'm the off laner, I spam Axe.
I'm interested why this happens, since for me, it seems counter productive to die more often (that mindset got me out of 2k). My theory is that the winrate went up since in my games carries dont get enough support/rotations, and I bully them out of lane. However, even when my team flames me for going 0-4 in 5 mins, the enemy carry seems to be having a harder time than our carry.
The reason for this post is partially looking for confirmation of my theory, and advise from hopefully experienced off lane players that could shed some light on the balance between pressuring and feeding in the off lane whilst making sure my teammates know what I'm doing and don't think I'm plainly feeding.
