it could be good, if you a escape get it togheter with force, the stats are awesome
Do boots + DL + diffusal, you have a skadi with + agi
yasha and it's upgrades are the only items that give illusions attack speed. Other attack speed items like treads and butterfly don't benefit illusions other than the agility stats. That's why yasha is so core on illusion heroes. Plus manta on PL is amazing since he goes diffusal blade and is an illusion based carry so will be building stats for them.
I would not want to skip manta on pl under any circumstances. But that doesn't mean dragon lance is awful either.
PL needs hp and the stats from dragon lance are amazing for the price, if you are doing badly, or have money to spare could be a cheap way to start fighting in the mid game once, some games I get a casual bracer and sell it later. I wouldn't buy drums though as the stats are awful on agi heroes now, and I probably wouldn't build a hurricane pike as you usually want your manta and diffusal asap.
I agree with @Dire wolf, manta is core as you're passive works on its illusions, it gives you a third dispel, the stats are better than s'n'y, you can push lanes with out showing your main hero, and you can dodge projectiles with it.

I was just wondering about last year how agressif went drums tp boots into diffusal last year and was thinking how would dragon lance effect pl as it is a 1950 gold item and gives u 14 str and agi while sny cost 4100 and gives u 16 str and agi.
Could tp boots dragon lance and diffusal work?
