I'm also in 1k, I perform poorly but I win games. Games are rigged in favour of those destined by valve t be winners and ppl like u to be losers.
Maybe try being nicer to ur teammates
Depends on your definition of 'Good performance'. Check stats / playstyle of ppl with higher mmr and try to compare with your own stats. I am sure there will be huge difference. Once you bridge those gaps, you'll surely improve your mmr.
Cr8 new account and change ur play style. U have 1k games and u stil in a Normal skill Bracket. Thats sucks... And about ur question if u can raise ur MMr in sea sever from 1.8k up the answer is YES!! BUT I TAKES 40YEARS FOR U TO THAT IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN...
@Izlude well I have had my ups n downs....reached a peak of 3.8k and a low of 2.7k....been playing only international ranked for last few months and have reached 3.6K on that. Will replace my solo mmr with it once that option is enabled.
Lmao! Dont blame the region u r in in climbing mmr. I am from SEA and was able to climb from 2.8-4.5 in just a month and able to reach the peak of 5k if I continued playing with discipline. It's all about the attitude as a player. Of course there are disadvantage since other Region has a well informed and well team oriented player but for alien sake dont blame the region u r in lmao. If u suck, then u wont be able to climb. Get good and u can get out from the mmr u stuck in.
Im in the same boat as you but i realized that you just need to stick to a couple of heroes you are good with and can stomp with. I've been trying morphing lately and it's been showing some good results for me. So just find a hero you can farm efficiently with and can stomp with little or no help, it's really tough playing on sea most of the times i understand :,)
Started at 2000, now at 2950, you basically have to know how to be efficient at farming. Picking Sven, Juggernaut or Invoker will not win you games if you have like 300 gpm and cannot get full gear in at least 40 mins. Most people in this bracket are slow farmers so you need to outfarm them with 2x the farming speed. Also Terrorblade, Arc Warden, and tanky supports are the best to play in this bracket.

Yes u can i have friend 1.2 and now 2.3 in a short amount of time. I teach him certain hero and told him how important last hitting is. Bcause this 1k player dont even bother last hitting if he land the last hit he said nice if he didnt get it he just play like nothing happen. He just hit that fcking creeps. Im the one watching him play got triggered even though he is look fine. Learn about the mechanic. Look for some guides and trick about hero u like. Like dotafire or gameleap at youtube.
its equally easy (or difficult, depending on your perscpetive) to climb on all the servers. if you do not climb, it means that ur performance isnt good.
Below 3k mmr at SEA server is hard but it is possible. Also play at night or morning, do not play from 12:00P.M. - 7:00P.M.
Those are the times "PEENOISE" usually play their potatoes.
When you are 4k below you can win games by just farming. At that bracket, no one pressures you on farming so you should get your core items at the faster time. Also, never ever trust your teammates or rely on them for stuns or disables because you will just end up dying by trying. Just farm the hell out then own them. Just dont get salty as hell.
Gonna try to boost this account to 4k in about 100 games on AUS server; 95 games left!
