It's SEA smurfs who don't freaking get it. They r trying to have that one strat to trick the system into thinking they r vhs. Some kind of SEA Misinfotmstion. A sticky addressed to these group of smurfs would be good.
It should go something like, u can't get into vhs unless u r a vhs player
Tahts the purpose of this website, to answer players question and inquiry because not all players are familiar with all the posts about vhs or normal skill. Some were just even told by their friend to visit here and look for answers and ignoring them is like being too cocky because u have read about it and know about it. So if you feel triggered by questions about vhs or how to get this and that, well, just ignore it, u can just past scroll on everything that triggered you because you already know.
Why are people obsessed by very high skill? I'm sure there are many much more meaningful benchmarks than some random flag Valve gives to some replays. It's not as if the game quality is any better in this mythical 'very high skill'.
a bit off topic, but all of my irl friends from SEA have 3 to 5 accounts where they try to calibrate higher than what they currently have
im the only guy who stuck to 1 account and try to raise it myself.
for comparison, im now 2900-3200 from 1800 calibration while theyre still 2200-2300 on their third calibration (their first was 1900 and 2nd was 2k flat). right now theyre on their 4th/5th account and the quality of their games doesnt seem to get higher. probably gonna get calibrated around 1900-2500 range again
so yeah if i know that much smurfs then the smurf kids who go "how to vhs" are all from SEA
@Alice: Bravo! That's what noobs don't understand. If you have the skill to be in VHS then you will be VHS on your main. If you do not have the skill to be in VHS it doesn't matter how many smurfs you make because you will NEVER reach VHS consistently--if you even reach it at all. Noobs have this misconception that if they play on a brand new account they will be VHS. Your skill will be reflected on any account you play, whether that be a new one or not. Noobs need to stop creating smurfs in hopes of getting into VHS because they will never achieve that goal if they do not even have the foundation or skills to be in that skill bracket. They are just wasting their time. Instead of wasting their time, they should do what you did and work on improving their game sense and skill. I do not know which doto schools these noobs are attending and told them that it will be better if they created smurfs but they should sign up for trump university and my team of elite people will teach them how to be GREAT! PS: Smurfs are for people who actually have skill not for noobs who think they should be X MMR.

Alice you're not alone. I considered whether to make a new account back when my mmr was 800, and my normal matchmaking was starting to give me a few matches in hs, but decided it would be more satisfying to climb all the way up, now i'm 3.3 and play in hs most of the time, and my normal matches have one or two in vhs. I'm proud of myself having come this far
