Vanguard and skull basher build into abyssal so you still have two open spots. I would say yes get vlads because lifesteal is amazing on pa and can allow you to fight if you have like 200 hp and your enemy doesn't have MKB or high burst
you can because dagger triggers an attack on the unit it hits so it's like you walked up and right clicked them but the damage is reduced
You gotta complete the Vlad's before the Deso, or that 900 gold spent towards lifesteal becomes useless after Deso purchas. That is, until you can put another 1400 in it.
the damage is only reduced if u right click for more than 250, otherwise it is increased
im going vanguard-deso-basher-abyssal build. you can check my profile. i think that is the best build.
And mostly there are other heroes who can build vlads. like void
Would you recommend getting 3 or so battle fury and a divine rapier? The cleave makes her dagger very strong. You can easily wipe out a wave and any weak heroes with 1 dagger.
Deso/Vlads is great. And for more tankiness go Vanguard. You don't really need vlads, but if you go Deso which is very wise, you will want Vlads for some lifesteal.
S&Y is very good on her too for mobility.
Bfury is super situational.
i think 1 bfury is great if you intend to play the farm game, a la jugg
multiple bfuries just make you a weaker, more gimmicky version of ember though
or yolo critlord build
Mid P.A oov blight is so fucking stupid gud, i kept making people switch lanes just because of spamming dagger. I usually go vlads-deso-abyssal; vanguard-deso if someones already getting vlads.
My timings are horrible tho since i miss alot of last hits haha pa's animation is so bullshit :(
I support, but back when I used to carry I would do about the same thing Izlude does.
I like battle furry on pa because it allows you to switch to more of a split pushing role if neccesary as well as allowing you to farm faster. It also gives decent damage.
Battle fury is pretty effective against megacreeps... that is how i helping the comeback at last match
@bratan that extra hp and dmg block that vanguard gives allow you dive t2 early. IDK why ppl want to get vlads when VG is enough!
Vlad is expensive and ask your position 3/4 to buy, complete vg n deso (whichever come first), rush bkb or basher better, expansibility
Regen concern i think vg is good enough to sustain ur farm, dont rely on the 15% lifesteal during war(satanic is another story)
@egoist exactly. vlads and vanguard are almost same price tag too but i would take vanguard anyday over vlads.
1. your teammates can get vlads.
2. vanguard gives you extra hp that you need.
3. it allows to dive to get those extra kills.
4. can farm woods without taking dmg if needed.

Actually i see many 6k-7k players getting DESO / ECHO SABRE / BOTTLE (if they go mid).......... with poor man shield u can tank jungle creeps nad wit hthat build u are ready to fight if ur team fights with u.
VANGAURD MUCH BETTER THAN VLADS ALSO.
DAMAGE BLOCK, HIGH REGEN, NOT RELIANT ON U RIGHT CLICKING , AND BUILDS INTO ABYSAL.
^^90% of players atm follow the same build following what QO did during the ti. im not suggesting its better, its just popular.
I just don't get why in pubs you'd want to play the farm game. Teammates suck at making space so by the time you have battlefury and farm your next item or so to fight the opposing carries are farmed up and getting close to mkb, at which point you're done unless your team has amazing setup for you. If I want to play anti mage or sven I'll play anti mage or sven, not try to shoehorn PA into a similar role. PA is a snowball hero not a farming one.

ok i guess i have to explain
1. You don't blink on every single target that you hit, echo sabre can be used while u blink (For the movement speed slow), and a few sec after in the middle of the fight. What if you get stunned rigfht after you blink? OH.. NO ATTACK SPEED BONUS :l.. good thing u have echo sabre :D
2. BLINK MIGHT BE ON COOL DOWN.
3. Echo sabre gives you great mana regen
4. In combination with DESOLATOR, echo sabre can increase damage out put by alot
5. Echo sabre helps you bring down towers, blink does not
6. You might want to save your blink for an ESCAPE.... in such case, echo comes in handy ;)
7. Echo sabre effect helps you KITE enemies that you are going on, this lets you use dagger on other targets to kite them IF YOU WANT.
im not saying it's CORE but in a game where u are doing very welll in early game and you know you'll get a fast deso, echo sabre goes VERY GOOD with phase boots + bottle + deso... this is in a game where u are READY TO FIGHT , SHUT DOWN ENEMIES, AND WIN SOON.
that is not the build for a 40 min match in which u hope ur enemies dont buy an mkb, at which point you lose.
also, if you have a PA running at u at 20 minswith phase boots deso echo sabre bkb ( all are not very expensive so if pa does well early she can have those items aroudn 20 mins)
there is nothing u can do to stop her pretty much and u lost, that is how u play pa to shut down a team,
obv this is more for solo que
in a match where u know ur teammates are good, u can go skull basher, but right there u are delaying the game ,
also , i garantee many heroes can deal with a PA skull basher MUCH BETTER Than a PA with echo sabre.
(this is assuming the PA got Desolator.)
if a hero has high HP / high Armor, chances are he can just tank your bashes. (MAINLY BECAUSE SKULL BASHER HAS A COOL DOWN) , and that bash couildve been a double crit with echo sabre) and stand there n fight back, if you hav echo sabre u might crit him to do the point where he has no choice but to back off or ur team kills him.
Also, u can always get skull basher afterwards, and it'll be much more useful with the double attack.
just my opinion.
PA with skull basher not very scary, she can stop u from TPING, and she can KIND OF lock u down, but dont forget echo sabre stops u from moving and attacking momentarily, so when it comes to kiting, it can help as well.
And PA already has a Kiting skill (daggeR)
obv u can build skull basher sometimes, just have good judgement
ECHO SABRE 60% win rate on PA , 2800 gold item with 60% win rate, only time you see that is like a veil with zues, or an item on a hero with high win rate,
that item is very synergistic with PA and satisfies a lot of her needs in team fights and it synchronizes extremely well with desolator.
by the time you are getting echo sabre mana regen isn't that much of a problem. If you get echo you will still use blink to initiate because otherwise she has no good way of getting close. You already have a 50% slow and the .6 sec stop from echo sabre isn't enough to kill someone nor is it any better than blink against getting stunned because your enemy will still just walk away. Imo the only reason to get echo is the stats and quicker stacking of crit chances
^You forgot obvious fact that Echo Sabre provides some mana regen for dagger/blink spam.
I tend to go for a RoA rather than Echo though. Might try Echo sometime.
I'd build Diffusal over Echo I think. Better than Echo in almost every way (except, again, mana regen). And Echo does give like, 200 health. But Diffusal = more attack speed, more stats in agility, and a purge/slow.
Daedalus on pa is probably the most effective meme build ive ever done, I buy it once every 5-10 games. especially since vlads deso basher -> abyssal leaves ur damage a little low if the enemy team is equal farm

Since new PA hotness seems to be phase, deso, maybe an aquila or pms thrown in there, do you get vlads after deso or go for vanguard into abyssal? She needs some kind of sustain I think but vanguard block and hp regen I feel is enough and getting both seems overkill.
How about phase, aquila, deso, vanguard, bkb, basher, abyssal?
