you're less than 40% winrate, a 2k can get vhs on a new smurf

but a 6k player given an uncalibrated normal skill account can calibrate it to 4.5k+

so no one can predict your mmr

pretty much, the mmr you get is pretty much determined on how you play the calibration matches, most importantly the match before hte first calibration match and first calibration match.(from my experience)

i always get 4.5k-5k calibrations, so just try not to fuck up. dota looks at skill, kda doesn't matter, game efficiency does.

git gud, try not to fuck up. play your best, pick your best, do your best. best best best

i calibrated 4.8 with crystal maiden once. so it doesn't matter what your best role is(is it carry, is it support, is it midlane etc.) just do your best and you'll get the highest mmr you can.

simple, your couple of first ranked games where very high skill, but hten you underperformed and dropped down to high skill. so you probably started with 3.7+ then you dropped to 3.2-3.6k

example your antimage game: you were 0/5 and you had 300 gpm

but like i said, even a 2k player can get into vhs on a new account

they start high at almost 4k and then slowly drown down to 3.4k

@cookie sir that VHS is party mmr ^_^ before i calibrated solo mmr my hidden something on yasp was 4.4 lmao then when i started playing solo mmr that mmr goes down, i actually started on 3.4k mmr - 3.6k AVG

And thats why i ddnt believe on that yasp and skill bracketing when you are playing NMM, im a newly dota2 player and doing what i saw and they said on this site.

skill brackets are from valve itself, anyways you're not guaranteed 4.4k mmr uless you play like one...

yasp only tries to predict the mmr, brackets are in the replay file itself

here's a simple way to think abut it: if you can't carry 2ks; how do you expect to carry 6ks?

so from that it's always best to ''git gud'' and mmr will come by itself (play and learn on your main). making/calibrating a new higher acc is pretty much useless.

the the thing for me is, i already have more skill than the maximum mmr calibration (5k), my reasons for smurfing are different.

your account is on the edge of vhs(3.7), everyone i've seen in this forum who played on the edge of vhs calibrated 3.2-3.5

just because it's vhs it doesn't mean you're guaranteed 3.7k++

unless your main is actually 4k++

but looking at how poorly you're performing in these 3k matches, very unlikely that you're actually 4k+

What about mine? Can you give mmr prediction? I used to get normal skill.But now I am starting to get high skill. I have played 87 matches already. What should I do to improve?
