Roaming riki is not about ganks.
He is about trading hits with enemy to take away their Regen or force them out of lane so you can win your lane for your teammates that way.
Think about it.
Let's say you have ember spirit mid on your team vs a shadow fiend enemy mid.
You get ur orb of venom and ur tango, u simply wait till shadow fiend is a bit far from his tower so u can hit him more.
At that point you just trade hits with him until he has no choice but to back off.
Understand??...
Now your teammate ember still has all his Regen and hes farming , while shadow fiend is near his tower, not farming, using his Regen, and he is scared to be aggressive.
Grats you won mid for ur team , now go to a diff lane where the enemy is not close to their tower , trade with them until ur team gets an ADVANTAGE in the lane.
It's all about giving ur team the advantages in the lanes by trading hits.
You don't need smoke screen tk trade hits at lvl 1just ur back stab + invis and an orb if venom.
^hes right. also hitting 1st after smoke is kinda stpd( expt ur from far and initiate with blink ), 0.4s cast point is already enough for high skillled player to escape
