There are too many styles i go for this most of time.
Ditya ra builds vangaurd into radiance. Manta. Dif blade. AC butter fly(in place of diffblade) and octrine corr (in place of vangaurd)
If lane is bad I skip radiance and build vlad instead of vangaurd
Yeah carry void is similar to carry jug, situational and can work with tons of different items. Even sange and yasha can be fine on him.
But I think you should always get vanguard and aquila. Why? You need some hp to make time walk effective and not get busted before you jump, and you need some regen. Void's mana regen blows. Aquila has regen and great stats for price. You could argue well vlads gives you lifesteal and regen in one item but that block on vanguard syncs with time walk so well.
After that you can get whatever. Nothing wrong with daedulus or attack speed like moon shard, ac or butter.
The only thing i'd probably stay away from is mjollnir. It seems underwhelming right now, farm item when battlefury feels better.
I really liked scepter before they nerfed it, so i don't have a clue about how to play him now. Before i would spam ulti for that shitty jakiro with scepter. 300 gold for 1 minute cooldown looked a fair trade to me
I prefer echo-sabre to vanguard. Pms-》treads -》Echo-sabre-》diffusal -》manta -》skadi is pretty great. U cud trade the last three items for a more attck speed dmg oriented build such as mjolnir daedulus butterfly

I can't figure out what items you should buy on this hero. Offlane void is really straight forward but safelane void is different almost every time i watch a pro/high mmr player. I mean I saw people going for vanguard + echo sabre into diffusal manta (it was against a chen so i guess vanguard was there to block creep damage?). Then there's the vanguard radiance build. Other people buy mask of madness and go for dps items. Others go for battlefury, probably expecting the game to last longer. I guess there's no "go to" build for void? Is it always situational?
