i dont understand how this makes pl better. First of all, drum of endurance costs less, and secondly, drums is not overly nerfed. It comes with six charges because players would abuse it if i didnt, same with diffusal blade. I honestly dont know why you think its nerfed, dont use the drum charges unless you need to escape our your team needs a good initiation. Dragon lance also gives phantom lancer no extra range either because he is not ranged; along with 0 intelligance, which means that phantom will get even more mana hungry, AND with .5 HP regen instead of 3.2; plus no extra movement speed.
The only thing that makes dragon lance a possible item for pl is the fact that you can dissasemble it for manta style or sange yasha later, but other than that, i recommend sticking with drums.
Pretty sure aquila>BoT>diffusal is a pretty fine buildup for early fights but if you lack stats SnY never hurt anyone. Yes drums are bad lately but i don't think stats are so critical for PL anyway. PL is plain bad when behind, item stats are irrelevant to that fact, if you farm a diffusal fast enough you will be the one to do the killing regardless.
Pretty sure you can also disassemble SnY later provided that you didn't build Manta yet on that ocasion.
3 agi 6 str 9 useless int 9 (pl doesnt lack mana) .And this costs 1800. Drangon lance gives 14 both agi and str for 1900. thats the logic
The only meele hero that works well Dragon Lance is Meepo. Please do not get it on any meele other than Meepo
