When i have no plans for the day, 6 hours, otherwise 3. Sometimes i wont play but when i do i play for the longest of times.

like it's holiday here so around 6-8 hours of playing.

I used to spend 40 - 80 hours a week. Now I spend about 4 - 10 hours a week, but that is due to battle pass, and noobs, and it just depends if it seems like it's going to be a red day (I stop playing after two international rank losses) or a green day (win streaks) I keep going.

Lately, though I have been doing pubs to finish my quests so I don't get tempted to try quests in ranked.

Prolly 2-5 hrs a day and on weekends it depends scaling from 5-7 hrs and sometimes 2.

10 hours a day but I just idle for 9 hours at main menu. Best idle game I have play.

Just look at my activity. 9 matches in last 30 days. My last game was 17 days ago.

I had my second child on june 13th. So I'm pretty much done with dota for a while. Time to catch up on tv. Infants do sleep, but not consistently enough to play something like dota. If I were to play now my abandon rate would go through the roof! Tv I just hit pause. I've been playing some old school master of orion when I get bored, I have a ton of other single player games to catch up on. Actually not playing dota has really improved my moods.

I have Master of Orion 3 and that game is just beyond my scope of understanding

What about watching dota , spending time on forums, checking scores etc.would be considerably more time spent by all.

Looks like i average 16 games a week . Pretty even split 8 games during week days 8 games on the weekend .

Master of orion 3 is the bastard child of the series. I only played it a tiny bit but it's buggy as hell and doesn't make any sense. And apparently you don't do anything in it, it's more just a bunch of random info on spreadsheets that has no meaning. You really have little control over your space civilization.

You should try the first and second one. They are quite good. They have flaws and are dated, but still worth a go. Both can be had for $6 on gog.com and they go on sale all the time.
