I mean going for a base race is only a bad decision if you guys could have won the fight with the spectre. If you guys would have lost the fight anyways then going for a base race was a better decision because at least then you have a chance of winning.
Oh the fight was in the bag for sure. All 5 of us were up, we killed off the 2 supports on their team, so it would have been 3v5 if spectre didnt tp to their base to get megas on top even though bottom racks were still up (instead of go after exposed t4s)
Their jugg and abaddon were farmed and killed us all. We would have been ok if he had stayed.
BUT...its all in the past. Gg wp
yeah only go for base races if you can't win the fight, and if someone does go for base race just don't die and distract the other team for as long as possible

spec picked up 2 dropped rapiers, then proceeded to try to base race instead of participate in the last fight where we lost.
