He's great at holding high ground, problem is you can still dive the shit out of him early. Tons of heroes kill him so easily mid game. Riki, bounty, lc, Jugger, axe, spirit breaker, void

Slahser also stated that he might be good in jungle
idk about that, i tried it and we lost but for other reasons (had 5 kills in 11min XD)
he can even stack hard camp and clear it with shrapnel
-> get 6 -> shoot somebody in the face
not saying that u should sniper jung tho XD

I mean maybe he's not a fotm pick but his win rates aren't that awful, 48% everywhere except 5k. He's right there with viper, a hero most people think is good and even like Slardar is only 50%. Silver edge is a pretty good item on him, so is dragon lance

slahser went 2 wb treads dragon lance maelstrom im most of his sniper games if i recall correctly
and yeah silver edge was also there almost every game

slahser has been spamming it in pubs owning most of the time with dragon lance

Treads or phaseboots? Isn't the extra mobility useful for positioning ? Or does DL help with that so he can go for PT for more DPS and survivability
