aghs is still super bad, though, unless u got a little friend riding an ogre and doint meth
Its obviously more worth it than ever but still situational, veil + lens still give you more damage for all spells, but now that veil can be purged you could justify getting aghs if you're against a purge heavy enemy (lancer, slark, abadon, etc), its also very good for global strats or if you have a carry bloodseeker.
But as said, veil + lens is more efficient and you usually need mobility items after that, now you can argue between aghs or octarine, still think octarine is better unless you wanna burst real quick.
His ult late game is anyway just to proc one more static field. and even to quick burst it's worst than octarine since the reduce cd would offer you an earlier lightning to proc the static (assuming you don't think that you can "quick burst" som1 with just 1 cast of each spell ofc)

One of Zeus' nerfs from this patch was to reduce his ulti damage by 250 at level 16 (50x5).
The Aghs damage however did not get nerfed, it still does 640 at level 16. So buying Aghs on Zeus now actually increases the raw damage of his ultimate by 215 per hero rather than the 165 it used to do. So if just getting more raw damage for fights is needed Aghs is comparitively a lot better than it was before.
Only thing is finding what item to replace it with. If your team has enough initiation or ways to save you could forgo blink dagger/force staff, and you could get someone else to buy veil maybe so you have BoTs, Aether Lens, Euls, Aghs, Refresher, Octarine Core.
