skill bracket does not originate on dotabuff, it appears in steam API and all the stats-related websites (dotabuff, yasp, dotamax) extract it from there. skill bracket attribution works automatically, and doesnt do mistakes besides those ones that result in blank skill bracket.

note that skill bracket in NMM is based on hidden mmr that is used as basis for normal matches. actual ranked rating of the players is not considered there.
and vice versa, hidden mmr doesnt matter in RMM.
