I dont think they banned you and took your items and compedium, the game just doesnt show you cause you are banned, just talk to valve they have a good customer service, compared with other companies.

are dota vac bans permanent? how come i see people with vac bans on their steam account but are still able to play

let me explain something for everyone:

- you don't get banned for scripts (hotkeys, automized clicks etc.)

- you don't get banned for programs that read the games memory, and act accordingly

- you DO get banned for programs that interfere with the games memory, meaning f.e. modifying illusions so you can see them etc

U will have to create another support account here(not ur steam one) and then create a forum about ur issue. It takes like 10 days or somethin but it did solve my problem when i lost all of my compendium items last year courtesy of russian hackers. Wish u all the best :)
