Same here. But i was almost there anyway. Experience trophy lvl 47 - 125 games played and i can go for ranked.
holy fukc its true, i checked on my smurf that has 45 games and i was able to que for solo ranked

my guess is that
if you are performing consistently and the system is confident about your skill bracket, they will unlock your ranked play much faster than the stated lvl 50 trophy requirement.
my first calibration match 4.9k average and im the highest, got highest impact in team but lost, and was then down to 4.1k average, kappa
after 7-3, got to 4586.
if u want 5k consistent, at least play 40-50 pub unranked first.
i played only 30 and got 24-6.
if your first match is 4.1 average u will calibrate there for sure.
24-6 gives me first match TBD highest @ 4.95 average.

so just now i relaunched my dota 2 and the lock on ranked match disappears, and when i tried to queue it says i needed only 12 more matches to play. I have played 21 matches on this smurf now.
only 32 games required to play?
