There's a thing called calibration cap. They probably even increased it now since a lot of delusional kids think they'll calibrate at least 500 mmr above their current mmr.

Hmm, this looks like a great opportunity to lower my MMR and with that, create a legit smurf instead of all the new accounts people claim to smurf with, but are actually attempting to play with better opponents (the opposite of smurfing...)

That's actually true, but I wouldn't lower my mmr. Amount of time I wasted to get my current mmr is not worth lowering it to get higher global winrate or just win more games in general.

I'm 99% sure that if I have to go against 3.3-3.5 and then against 3.7-3.9k players again I'd probably quit this game.

There's a difference between losing to the point where you have to climb back, and lower your mmr on purpose..

If I lose 5 games in a row, I'll get at least some mmr back later. If I lower my MMR for 1000, idk if I have mentallity and attidude to go again against 3k mmr bracket.

3kis are nothing compared to low 4ks in terms of how hard it is to deal with your own team. 3.8k-3.99k is actually pretty good because ppl want to win and get 4k.

imo thats the same shit for every bracket.. 3.7-4.3 is gay, and so is 4.7-5.3 2.7-3.3 etc

Soon they will sell mmr recalibration in the shop. Just buy it whenever you want. Don't wait for compendium. Pay to recalibrate again and again forever.

Currently 3.7 k id say biggest shit hole was between 2800 and 3k flat . People panick like hell wh. They got close to 3k

They don't understand that the compendium is STILL worth the 10 dollars, even without the international que ranked. (It's always been worth the money) I'm sure they bought last years compendium too, and I bet they didn't complain, they should be thankful that gaben gave them a chance to show them that they actually belong at their current MMR.

That's like getting brand new copies of Fall Out 4 and GTAV for 20 bucks together, then complaining that they didn't come with DLC. Compendium is well worth the money, I mean you can get MORE than half of your money back just by selling the things you got from it. (immortals, sets, ect)

My 1st game was the average of my normal ranked.

Now after winning as Treant I jump 500 mmr. I guess doing hero damage and getting last hits helps alot, when you play treant

Bought it because it still worth without the i-mmr but with that I think it made it even better [for me, i guess];

Calibrated near my real rank and now I can basically keep my current normal and spam i-mmr without hesitation of queuing;

Plus if you're from SEA you basically have some sort of filter for plebes who don't want to spend on these kind of stuff :v

It isnt really about the 10$. It is about that they missed their chance to get the MMR "they deserve".
