why do so many russians play video games? Is it cus chinese and americans play other shit like xbox? Just seems weird, they dominate a quite a few mmos in terms of numbers.

because russians are many, so even a minority is a lot. americans/europeans/asians play lots of games as well, they just play other games than dota 2 (i think america is #1 in cs:go, germany is higher up in cs:go as well etc)

Yeah that's what I meant, huge majority of gamers here are still console. COD is still the most popular games. Even fallout I know people who have Xbox one and PC and they got 4 on Xbox over PC. I think people like to sit in their living room and play I guess.
