dont get what people are complaining about with the international ranking thing in General Discussion
Putins Price Hike

U cant jump more than a few hundred mmr pts. No one is going 2k to 4k or 4k to 6k. It puts u against where ur current mmr is. so even if u win 10 games at 4k. u still will be in 4k. u might go from 4.2 to 4.6 but u wont be 6k no matter how good u do. Plus u have to do 40 games to keep it. So its not even a thing. u paid 10 buck or more to rank up a quick 200 mmr if in those 40 games u can keep it.

    skyro

i smashed 9 of the 10 games i played in, got placed 600 mmr below my real mmr

      YB^^

What happens if you lose all 10 games, how much can you drop?

        lm ao

No one is, because international ranked and normal ranked arent played on different servers

          Prachtlachs

Ive seen an Acc which climbed from normal to vhs during the calibration games but it seems most of the player doesnt get much higher than their normal mmr

            stupid fuck 2000

It's true, I only gained like 400 and had very good stats in those 10 games. (won 7, lost 3. minimum 700 gpm on all of them except one)

Do you have the ability to reset both solo and party mmr? And do you have to play 40 games in solo and 40 games in party to keep both?

                "TheKid belowMeIs an ass"...

                  Yup 80 total

                  Snerdly

To answer a previous question, I went 1-9, and played support in all of them so I had terrible GPM and only lost ~150 MMR. To be fair, my MMR had dipped from a previous losing streak, so it was probably minus ~350 from where I was at a couple weeks ago, but it wasn't nearly as low as I thought it would be. I was curious how far it would drop me after such a dismal performance, and I was kinda strangely disappointed it wasn't lower. I was kinda expecting minus 600-1200. If there was a tricky quest I wanted to do it would actually have been kinda nice to have that really, really low MMR where I could be like a god amongst men, but that's kinda dirty anyway.

But yeah, it didn't drop nearly as far as I thought it would. I don't know how calibration works, and it seems like people are always complaining about it after an impressive performance and unimpressive results, but here's a theory. Does it factor in versatility of heroes? I think I played 9 heroes in 10 games, and I wonder if some of those people with monster stats just picked one hero ten times in a row and were punished for it. I have no idea; it's not something I really care about anyway as I've never made more accounts and likely never will, but it was just something I thought of as a possibility. Another question is if it rewards you for buying wards and smokes and stuff like that.

I don't get why people are complaining about wasting 10 bucks, uh, compendiums have always costed 10 bucks, they should be happy that they got this little experience that give them a few hundred MMR. Besides, compendiums are always worth the 10 bucks, it's not like the old one's had this feature.

                      ASSESS Product

I dun pay 10 bucks for this international rank shit lul.

                        Feed

$10 is worth with these compendium items but not this so called "im going to 4k from 2k recalibration"

                          blossom

I'm actually quite pleased with the result of my calibration games. I calibrated for normal ranked almost two years ago when I only had 100 games or so experience, mostly with bounty hunter (explains my current abysmal winrate with him), and got 2.6k. I then proceeded to lose badly and I eventually quit ranked a year ago with the threat of only 100 mmr between me and 1k.

With the International Ranked Calibration I made a notepad file to keep track of the results of my calibration games. I had second highest or highest hero damage, gpm, or xpm in all of them, and an average KDA of 5.0 or higher of the ten games. I finished yesterday with 7 wins, 3 losses. My international ranked "reset" back to my peak mmr of 2.6k, which basically undid all those terrible games I played years ago. I'll gladly play 30 more games to keep that +500 mmr and the subsequent easy 3k (I play in High Skill bracket a lot and I'm not out of place). I'm happy with that 2.6k boost. What about you guys?

                            Ayaneru ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I bet no one wants to play support when playing battle pass ranked match

                              dunce

Everybody higher than 4999 in normal ranked is placed in 4k too so let's say mid 4k means a whole different universe compared to normal 4.5

                                cancer

pay 10 $ to reset MMR LUL 4Head
