Yes and no, if you are 100% realistic about it it won't be true, since the earth is not a perfect circle.
But if we would see the earth as a circle it would fit.
You also don't get a right angle, because all the sides are curved (remember, the world is round, meaning all sides are rounded and not str8 lines).
Every angle should be 60 and 1 mile long, if you go that route on the top of a ball
