Late game items are: Diffusal, Manta, Butterfly, Heart, Travelboots. And depending on the game Skadi for tankiness or abyssal just to have a stun
because illusions last for 5 seconds max. You rather make them tankier or spit out more damage through rightclicks than a passive magical damge.
It does gigantic amounts of damage in Team fights, but a carry with bkb would screw you up as he would get like 30% less damage then he would if you had a basher instead
and spectre uses radiance mostly as a farming tool, that's why you rush it. PL has his illusions to farm
That would mean that its best to rush vald on pl for quick farm , get diffusal after val and then items depending on lineups
I personally think vlad is kinda useless on him, you don't really need the lifesteal. Yasha gives more/better stats and is a buildup for Manta which you want to get anyway. Just get a ring of regen for your HP.
yea obv going 4-1-1-1 but what to do of that ring later on? sell it ? as i prefer heart over other health items

Nah, PL doesn't need Lifesteal. I usually Keep the ring until I get my first item for heart. It's like 350 Gold anyway.

I think OP thinks illusions get lifesteal. They dont, they get the visual effect but they dont lifesteal, just like AM illusions dont cleave.
also radiance is shit on PL, illusions lasts 5/8 sec, they wont clear a camp with boots radiance, but they might with drums diffusal. Also skadi is amazing, in TI5 this was the main build, aquila, drums, BoTs, diffusal, manta, skadi, then usually heart and butterfly

Not sure if it's good, I've been playing some PL lately and I wasnt sure about my build and now reading all this about lifesteal made me think my build might be totally wrong.
Please tell me if its bad and what should I do instead.. I usually go for the quick vlads + brown boots + queeling blade (6-7 min), i get the vlads for the early pushing so I can take the tower soon, then I move to jungle till I finish diffusal (14-15~), and then I try to get BoTs, if i accomplish this before min 20 we usually rekt but if lane is hard and I only have the vlads + difusal at 20 minutes it becomes a pretty hard game because I cant splitpush very safe.
Should I skip vlads and make aquila? drums is worth? Travels before diffusal or after? I like getting difusal asap because its just so op item on him... I've been losing some games as pl lately and probably its becasue of the early build. HELP!
Start with PMS and Tangos
Get quelling, Brown boots, ring of health (350 Gold one), band of elvenskin (450 Gold item for yasha) in this order from sideshop
Get yasha, diffusal, travels, Manta, heart, Butterfly, skadi/abyssal
Skill build is 4-1-1-1 then always stats until you're forced to take ult (at 16 and 18 i think)
you can start jungling once you reach Level 6, but you should wait until you have band of elvenskin.
Radiance is possibly only good on Spectre and Naga Siren now.
Not that I'm saying it's completely useless, but since Diffusal got rid of orb effect, there are plenty options for PL.
The only certain core items for PL; Diffusal Blade, Travel and Manta.
If your opponent is elusive, you can go for Basher/Abyssal for stun.
If your opponent doesn't have hard time with finding the real one, you can go for Satanic.
Skadi provides great slow and amazing stats.
My ideal 6 slotted PL; Diffusal Blade - Manta Style - Butterfly - Eye of Skadi - Heart or Tarrasque - Boots of Travel
Possible other items; Satanic - Abyssal Blade

There aren't many people who's building Daedalus on PL but even critic is a better choice than Radiance right now.
You can not see a build with Daedalus or Radiance among guides...
As for starting build; Wraith Band + Quelling Blade.
I like Drum+Travel combo. Early game build; Ring of Aquila + Drum of Endurance + Travel of Boots.
After that, go for Diffusal and other major items.
never get radiance. and never build straight wraith band. better buy tango and circlet or maybe slipper u have room use it
if u want to get lifesteal don't get vlad get fucking satanic.
late game items
difusal-bot-skadi-abyssal-satanic-fly.
Drums is good cuz for some reason is the only aura that affects illus or smth like that. I am pretty sure they get the attackspeed and moving speed. I think only yasha does that too. +, if you go for travel ( which you should) drums makes up for not having 200 hp or what str treads give you. You can have aquila-wand-drums-bots by 14-15 min or oven sooner.
There's nothing wrong with vlads, PL kinda has mana issues so most builds include an aquila, but you could go vlad's instead. Less stats but lifesteal and dmg aura. But you don't really need lifesteal, if you want to clear jungle camps just attack click your illusions and you'll drop aggro. Your illusions will tank for you, you can easily clear ancients this way.
And I have never gotten daedulus, my PL farm is never that good sadly but illusions can crit so I imagine it's a lot of dmg, but most people end up going diffusal, butterfly, heart/skadi and by then game's usually over one way or another.
whenever i see a pl going radiance this is what i do
A: He's on my team
If i'm not a core in a position to carry the game i just abandon
B: He's on the enemy team
I inform my team the enemy carry is useless and we go mid and end
Simply... Yes, I prefer Skadi even before HoT (my profile will tell you more).
As for Radi, I used to do it a lot when having complete freefarm, but nowadays I guess I like my teamfight more.
heart is better imo , like in a very even game after you just won a crucial team fight at 35-40 min and you alone survive with 100 hp , you regen back to full and can push, probably take racks while skadi doesn't allow you to do that . If im ahead though I go skadi. But lately finding it hard early game against dual range lanes like wr/phoenix , mirana / wr , jakiro/luna , esp kotl / leshrac was brutal . PMS ll help ? in those games i just rushed vlad and retreated to the jungle asap.
if u are split pushing skadi is better
if you are teamfighting lots/want to push high ground heart is better
U cant farm with radiance. Old PL could, this one cant cuz illusions lasts too less
radiance is the absolute worst item on pl. possibly worse than an aghanims scepter, since the scepter at least gives stats. lol. anyway at 2k mmr ive seen lancers build radiance 50 min into the game. You just can't argue with these ppl....they spit out a twisted logic of their own...

1. For late game , after radiance , isnt skadi better choice as compared to heart?
2. Radiance is better than diffusal as overall farm output increases? Unless opposition has heros for which we need diffusal .
