Sumail's mini documentary was really cool. He went pro in like 6 years, not bad, very talented, he still has yet to build more coordination and improve his critical thinking skills, he's gonna be a beast. Better than my friend who has been playing for 10 fucking years compared to my year and a half, and thinks he's the best player of all time, and is barely 4.8K.

If you didn't already watch CDEC's matches today, you really should (especially the series versus VG). They aren't just getting lucky; they are dismantling some of the best teams in the world with the total package (excellent laning, individual plays, clever drafts, great teamplay, etc).
(Plus the games were hype as fuck and we were losing our shit for 4 hours straight :D)
If they continue playing at this level, they're gonna make a deep run at Key Arena.
This year's China teams are so wierd. All the Tier 2 teams are dominating; all the Tier 1 teams are playing badly.
iG --- Are not really playing as a team.
VG --- feels really passive; either they are hiding strategies for later or are unprepared for the meta
Newbee/EHOME --- Strategy, meta preparation, and execution isn't too bad, just talent drained.
CDEC/LGD --- Outside of themselves, no one expected them to play this well. Wow....
This guys have like most of the chinese veterans, they dominate China scene for months now and have a 75 winrate this patch. How can you call them tier 2 geez. Nobody informed underrated LGD. CDEC is a surprise tho.

Yep. People were like meeh when someone would mention LGD, but its really not surprise that they are on top of the group playing excellent dota. s4 said that they are most afraid of LGD. CDEC really is surprise, tbh, I watched just 1 game of theirs against VP. Really good dota.
If c9 wants to reach high place, they really need to avoid first round of lowerbracket. Like, snuckle somehow to second phase. They look like team that really sucks under big pressure.
Oh yeah and complexity... Who would think our guy moonmeander will come this far. These guys play fantastic dota (against c9 especially) and I hope they will go even further after group stage
