so because its my last year of school, my mother said she'd like to gift me something. She said that I can have whatever I want, be it a drivers license or a long vacation or a gaming pc/laptop. I'm not exactly sure what I'd like to have - I don't want a drivers license because I can't afford a car while studying anyway. I could actually improve my pc/buy myself a decent laptop for uni, but I guess my current pc is more than sufficient and I definetly won't need a 3000€+ upgrade.
So, should I go on vacation to france for 1-2 months? I'm sure it'd be fun but I'll be alone :'(
im pretty sure that drivers licence is super useful regardless if you'll have your own car or not in the nearest future
also if you won't drive for like 5 years and you'll feel like you forgot how to drive you can pay (pretty cheap) extra lessons just to remind yourself how to use car
idk what i'd use a drivers license for and the thing is that i can probably (very likely) just get my drivers license while i have a job / i'm doing my masters
i just believe that most people don't have time to take 1-2 months vacation and i might be missing a chance there
You should already know the answer by looking at your replies. A drivers license is an investment in your future, but not really needed when you're between 16-22 years old tbh. I'd go with the vacation for sure. Just my 2 cents.

@spunki u should go for drivers license dunno how it is in ur country but here the longer u have it the less u have to pay for insurance or some shit, so it's always useful to get it early cuz u will be paying less when u will get a car xd
