when you play carry, how do you deal with having no map control? i find it quite hard to do anything in that situation because either i go farm somewhere and get ran at as soon as i appear near creeps or the jungle is permanently occupied by either team
i suppose that in early game you either lane or jungle and if noones helping you on safe lane and you are facing bounty hunter/riki/bara then your team is retarded and you cant do anything
i mean mid/late game, i feel like i cant find farm anywhere (or if i can i get like one wave and have to tp back) without having whole team behind me but then you would have 5 people on the same open spot doing nothing and waiting to get wrecked by opposing team
or sometimes they need just one or two people to tp and kill me while i splitpush, usually i tp back but enemy team backs off as well and we're on the same position, or even worse -> lanes are pushed and enemy still controls our surroundings
u just need to make an educated guess of what they will do based on what other objectives are avaialble on the map( t2, wave of creeps, rosh. eg: if they just finished kill rosh and their heroes are super strong, most likely they will just get a t2 and attempt a high ground push, but there will be like ~15sec where they will be off the map and maybe u think they might come back to defend their offlane t2 but in reality there is no way they will make that play), which allies are showing on the map ( if your lion and es are hiding, then you showing up to farm is safe cos they wont jump you cos u might be camped) and how dangerous are the areas that your other cores are farming (sf pushing offlane t2, there will almost certainly be one catcher trying to find him before he tps out, you can get 2 free waves of farm from that)

you should have your own map awareness
as they said, predict the enemies movement, wether theyll rosh/afk farm etc
imo the key here is to buy boots of travel so you can just tp from wave -> jungle -> wave -> jungle -> wave etc
