@arin if you're having trouble with crystal cave just run past every mob. As long as you're fast rolling, and can kinda watch your back as you run, there shouldn't be any difficulties getting past the clams. Seeth himself is pretty easy to dodge around. Curse resistance is granted by humanity, armor, or the cursebite ring found in New Londo Ruins in a spooky ghost house full of murder ghosts.
