Hello guys, I'm new to Dotabuff's forum. I'd like to ask how do you lane against "Queen Of Pain" in the middle lane in Solo Mid 1v1 in General Discussion

but still would be hard to beat qop. its really hard to initiate. if her lane is pushed, creeps will take down your refraction. if lane isnt, she will just blink far away in tower where you dont have traps. in the moment your refraction is down, youre dead. dat simple.
as i said, i play qop, and its pretty hard to lose mid.
Puck vs QoP is 50-50 at best, but I would give slight advantage to QoP - better animation & base dmg. It's also until he gets lvl 3. TA losses early on, no matter if QoP has sentry or not, after she gets like lvl 3-4 lane becomes even (only if QoP has no sentry). I don't think Huskar wins vs QoP - she has better dmg, range, slow & just kills him at lvl 6.
If u really want to win vs QoP u need to pick Lina, Bloodcyka or Sky. Those are probably the easiest heroes to win against her. Other good heroes are Tinker, Windranger, Leshrekt, Viper, Invoker.
EDIT - how can u even talk about QoP vs TA so much. It doesn't matter if she has sentry or not. If u go lvl 1 meld she will just rightlclick u & u have melee range, so ez win for her. If u go psi blades first, she will just Shadow Strike u & right click. Before u get lvl 3 she rapes u hard, no matter if she has sentry or not. If QoP is really good she will get huge advantage early on & u can't do shit before u get lvl 3-4. Later on TA wins if there is no sentry, but QoP should have secured huge amount of farm & denied till that.
@Luxury you are right, both of the heroes have similar strength and weak point.
@Korrosiv for Puck there is uncountable amount of counters to her as a range hero a.k.a Queen Of Pain.
For TA, you are not picking her to just dodge shadow strikes. As I mentioned both are quite similar heroes.
@Luxury Smurf Invoker disvantage on last hit, you won't get a good trade against her when you shadow strikes although you can regan back your HP through your Quas. To go on her you need at least level 4-5, she will force you out the lane by standing on your cliff. As I mentioned, you won't get a good trade if she Shadow Strikes you, if you go on her she will just blink away easily.
@imprecis Thanks for your suggestion I appreciate positive responses. Have you seen @Waga beats up Queen Of Pain middle with maxed refraction ? I love to watch his stream as soon as he is streaming, I've seen Waga won most of his TA games against QoP and see how it actually works. You don't always lose to QoP as TA unless you are really bad player, too bad I didn't use her while in the tournament, I wish I had more knowledge and intel of that hero earlier on.

Razor with Maxed 1st skill and 3rd skill actually rekt her mid.
I actually raped 1 Queen Of Pain in the middle lane with Leshrac, I do not feel satisfied knowing that I'm only playing in High Skill Bracket. But I actually sees multiple solution, advantages as Leshrac against QoP.

An example of Shadow Fiend fucks Zeus up when he is level 7, with a cloak bracer aquila treads and bottle. I can make Shadow Fiend even better after those, get an early magic wand. 1v1 Solo Mid, you win when your opponent's tower get destroyed. I hope Lighting Bolt works on Tower Kappa
Zeus doesn't have unlimited mana, Yeah I understand about opponent can't do shit about your bottle crow and clarity.

Greetings guys, Wildream here, I'm one of the sponsors and organizer for the tournament.
Kindly ignore this kid, he has serious issues. His daily routine includes whining, boasting, lying and producing garbage. My friend and I hosted a casual tourney for friends to have fun and improve. This unskilled and sore loser got outplayed every game during the finals by an opponent who has latency issue and only one life for being forfeited into the revival bracket, he later on bashed the winner. Despite me spending lots of patience mentoring him (yes the kid was my closer friend whom I once care out of sympathy) on both DotA and EQ, he dissapointed me over and over again. So much so that I had to cut him off because he's being too toxic that it's mentally taxing me and the people around.
For the record, his solo MMR is a pathetic 2k+ (team is 3k+ but I carried him a good 300-400+) and his EQ is negative, the only thing which is beyond measure is his unimaginable ego. I don't normally trash people like this but I think he deserves it this time, he just never learns, sigh.
Yes, his horrible attitude aside, he does show some promising potential on an irregular, volatile basis, that I have to give him to him lol. Most of the powerhouse 5ks were absent or faced technical difficulty, so basically he was fighting 3-4ks before reaching finals.
Probably the tournament was filled with 2-3k players, and that QoP 5k guy. The topic is probably him showing off that he reach finals in a "5-6k SEA tournament" thinking we wont notice he is in high skill. Of course he lied about the ratings, all the guy he beated were probably 2-3k mmr
And I think he still thinks that the winner beat him just because he picked QoP considering how good he feels that he beated a QoP with lesh in a high skill game. ZHG, I am really sorry to tell you, that player is just on another level above you. You couldve picked whatever you want and he playin fucking AA but he probably wouldve beat you again

To peoples that don't understand the topic is basically "How to counter Queen Of Pain" to peoples that respond off topics are just going to be ignored.
Even if you had all the tips, and picked idk some big counter to QoP you would've lost anyway.
for example, if you were on the same level as him, a puck could be able to beat QoP, as you can dodge most of his abilities.
IF he blinks to harras you, try to avoid Q/E with you E, then trade + your Q. If you got hit by his Q, just hit back and try to avoid E if he goes for it. IF he blink to burst you down, idk, maybe try to avoid Ulti or blink/Q out, heal with bottle go back with + ulti+ silence or smth.
Or if you have a good reaction time, he blinks, maybe he has time to scream, then you immediately silence + ulti + nuke and trade.
Blind picks don't say much as heroes that are generally low skill but really powerful mid would be abused which I thought was the case considering you don't have to mirror match (same heroes or playing the same match up which is better imo). Puck vs QoP is a pure skill and really even match up so puck prob isn't a good idea.

-stick, nulls, agro, ss timing, abusing people who A click after ss, knowing the hero kill potential also noting that the player can A click you then blink in which stops any agro, keeping tangos to maintain high hp, watch the hero mana since her ult is really mana intensive, pulling back when she goes for ss

If its LH/DENY heros changes.
If its Towers, heros changes.
If its Fb, heros changes.
If its 2 kills or towers, heros changes.
Any burst damage hero can win QOP.
Zeus = EASY lane
Lina = EASY lane
Sky = Easy lane
Even techies with level 3 suicide can easily kill her.
So you have 2 options:
1- You are worse than him.
2- He is better than you.
Honestly If both are the same skill, puck should win the matchup. Pugna comes to mind as another good hero vs her.
