Problem with solo mmr, is that theres always a ratkid who demands mid before the drafting phase starts and then feeds.. I have to end up playing suport which I dont dislike at all but my winrate as suport is much lower than when I go mid so.. It's taking too many games to climb my solo mmr.
MMR doesn't mean anything as long as it's based on wins. You can have a troll who is trying to throw the game 20 games in a row and win cuz his teammates don't' wanna lose. To a Dendi who loses 20 in a row cuz his teammates suck.
TSR is better rating system than this 1 man chess elo rating.
^but dendi still has 6k after these 20 losses in a row. and he eventually has similar winstreaks. on average, only his own impact will count in terms of defining his mmr, because in long run you get absolutely equal teammates and enemies.
what you say only proves the existence of random deviation.
I once dropped my solo MMR to around 2.8k, but managed to climb back to 3.5k.
I think I deserve to be around 3.8k-4.0k but something's not right in SEA Server. It's like everyone in this bracket (3-3.5k) are "MMR Prisoners" and synergistically holding each others' MMR cause everybody messed up at one point.

I tilted and dropped 500 mmr recently and climed 200 mmr again. so now im 3,9, which is fokken boring. Until u meet certain individuals, who go apeshitcrazy w their picks/plays. lots of <30 min games. I want to be 4,3k again and support in some exciting games again.
So, when I had about 300 hrs in the game (100 or so wins) I thought I was pro and started doing ranked. Got 1600 MMR and didn't understand why I wasn't doing well. So I told myself to not play ranked anymore until I have about 1000 hrs. I now have that 1000 and 400 wins and started doing ranked again and am rapidly increasing. In 2 days I shot up to 1800 and wont stop until im in the 3000's then I'll be happy. Even if I stayed in 2000 I would be happy at this point, but I know that I am 3000 material.
4.1k checking in. No I am not I think I am around 5.5k+ it's because the noobs always try to hold me down and troll. I watch my 6k friend play and honestly its a lot easier than what my games look like I think valve is trying to stop me from climbing. Every game I go 25-0 but my team just constantly feed.
4.8k, I'm happy with 4.5k-5.k, If i can abuse my way to 5K+ though i wouldnt mind.
3,9k party and 3,3k solo, I mostly play party so I guess if I put more time on the solo ranked I can get to 4k relatively easy.
I have pretty good winrate with most of mid heroes and KDA ratio, zeus and SF dominate so hard :D
if anything i'd say you'll lose more and get 2k solo xd

Ermm.. I didn't learn any thing new. I've been spamming support Abaddon all the way. I don't think u can supp to climb at about 3k5->4k though.

i am 2.7 k but i actually am at the skill level of 9k mmr (no Kappa)
How can ppl have like 4,8k mmr with a winrate of 48% in ranked games?

at the remote times of the rise of RMM, calibration cap was much, much higher (or even didnt exist), and people calibrated at 5-6kk.

I feel like I deserve it, I play well but I make too much mistakes and underestimate things a lot. Just gotta practice more support
