I just use the full graphics and it runs about 180FPS on my 4 year old PC with a 2 year old dual EVGA GTX 670 Graphics card.
Left for dead 2 I tried out yesterday and get max 300FPS. I dont see myself changing PC's anytime soon...
ye i did smth similar i used to have 45-50 , but then i did some guides and stuff and now almost constant 60

You have to enable console from the options then hit ~ then command is i think fps_max 60
VSYNC does the same damn thing from the options though......
I don't know how interesting it is, but I have ~ everything etween 144-500 depending on what's happening on the map.
However in League of Legends I have 100-266, depending on whats going on.

Old non gaming laptop.
Lowest settings, resoultion is so low that evrything is hard to read.
The cursor was so big i had to find a custom one that's small.
Fps limited to 30 (almost always is at 30, but sometimes drops)
Limited so that pc doesn't overheat and ocasioanlly drop.
2 additional cooling fans on the laptop stand.
Used to have 13-15 fps.. Then i turned everything to lowest quality, and now i have 25-30 fps. and drops to 20-18 when looking at dire ancient i guess.
But yea, that, plus me finally getting my pings to down from 300~ constant to below 100 made me go from 47% winrate to nearly 50 on this ID :D
(and from 46-47% winrate to over 50% on my other id too. with a 65% winrate over the span of a month according to the dota scenario thingy option)
I had no clue fps went above 60 on dota ._.
I have a stable 120 fps with an r9 280x and fx 6300. Is there a cap or wont it run better?
@[dZ].XoD if you want to make your pc work hard and reduce your fps, use showcase mode, and enter the "bubble" of fire of dire ancient :)
I get 3 to 6 FPS. But this is because I am using a computer from 2004 that doesn't even have the minimum requires specs to run dota 2.

50-80 fps, however sometimes drops to 30, I usually go to main menu and click on my armory, fps gets back to 50-80 fps

Got old pc, got new monitor (old one was 12 yo so had to change) and the game started to be unplayable (1920x1080 resolution now, before it was 1024x768 lol), gonna try out these commands and maybe look up for some more to see if I can play some dota before I can afford a new PC

Apparently the game is playable now, the graphic isnt even that horrible at these settings. Its gonna be a great change after I get a new PC tho. For now I will just focus on my performance rather than some fancy effects then

I added the following in the launch options and fps_max 60 in the config. It works!
+engine_no_focus_sleep 0 -high -nod3d9ex -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -useforcedmparms -novid -noaafonts
Used to have 30-40fps and sudden drop till 10-20. Now it runs 60.
I can finally enjoy the game. :D
