Tinker on the other hand has become far too cancerous when in your team. He's become the flavor of the month hero for every idiot who's convinced they are playing 1v9.

I hate when I get skywrath on my team because they dont play him mid.....

Normal bracket has a shitton of weight. That's where the vast majority of players (you know, the people who raised $10mil for TI4) play games. It's what they know.

That's like the biggest challenge of dota - making it so that the game is balanced enough to support a competitive scene without making anything OP when playing with/against bads.

Normal bracket is only about 33% of games, with high being 33% and very high 33%. Follows a normal distribution. Here's a beginning of proof: http://dota2toplist.com/statistics

Bottom line if you're in normal you're in the bottom 33% of dota players = no one cares who wins mid as both players are pretty bad anyway.

Not really. Those statistics only consider people who care enough to be in that site. Most 2k players (which is A LOT of people) don't give a fuck so they're not being even considered. According to valve, the average MMR is around 2.4k.

When ranked was first released they showed the MMR percentiles. 2.4k was 50% iirc. Too lazy to look for that right now.

^Oleksandr: these are the old % of hidden MMR at the time, as Sampson is saying. If dota2toplist was so off you wouldn't have such a bell curve so I'm pretty it's relatively accurate. Would be cool if db showed the total number of matches by skill bracket.

skywrath is balanced, people are just trash and not capable of picking heroes to take advantage of his low hp and low armor.

skywrath mid is really good but its not imbalanced to the extent of tinker mid in pubs

Like seriously, beside this last skywrath match, I find that tinker mid is not bad, just annoying in the early game. Late game, just five man team fight push the tower with some bkb's and tinker can't do shit to you.

so you have to convince 4 other players to do what you are saying to potentially shut down one single hero and he is not "annoying"? okay

also money doesnt raise in trees, not everyone on your team will have a bkb. ok you pop a bkb and he 1 shot kills your supps and will do the same to you when your bkb is over

also he is very good at defending high ground due to marches

blademail is stronger against tinker than BKB

Tinker's win rate would be 55%+ if the baddies would just practice and get the rhythm down.

I am pretty sure that i can practice tinker all day and he woudnt get a bigger winrate than my other mid heroes

? I am talking about overall dotabuff win % recorded for tinker currently.

Most the ppl who trying to emulate Tinker do not take the time to practice just assume they going to have dagon 5 and e blade.
