Due to the MMR system changes in last 2 years, there are just way too many party boosted animals playing at higher bracket, which is also reflected every time the calibration happens.
Personally, before the last callibration almost every party spammer in my friend list was around ancient-divine(when the medal attained didn't change even if you lose). So this guys just boosted themselves to ancient-divine with high mmr parties for few weeks to get that medal and then played solo. After callibration almost everyone callibrated between Guardian-archon, and then blamed the new mmr system.
Tl:dr, Combining Party mmr and solo mmr was a mistake. Before the matchmaking had separate matches for you based on your party / solo mmr. So 4 other strangers didn't have to worry about a guardian dog with ancient medal.
Not even playing ranked and crying about hidden pool OMEGALUL.
Also, hidden pool is just a fucking reason you low skilled idiots use to satisfy your ego.
Hidden pool was a term used before BHS was a thing. Players didn't know what their behavior score was.
Some time later someone discovered the console thingy that showed you the "behaviour score" as a grade.
So players started saying that if you have F behavior grade you are put into hidden pool.
The equivalent of which is in the current system, bhs of less than 3k.
Right now you don't need the hidden pool shit, your bhs is on display. Blaming others for your own incompetence. LUL
It has always been the case that good players are matched with bad players. The question is, can you prove that you are the good one?
Hael have you ever considered for a minute, that after such a long time of absence you play much worse and that triggers your teammates the most.
Besides ranked games experience is better than normals where people make battlepass challenges.

due to covid-19 situation a lot of people are home and are having more time playing video games so thats one of the reasons also people in dota 2 are more toxic

I've recently come back to Dota after a 2 year break or so and I'm getting the most lopsided toxic games and frustrated games I've ever been in in dota and my behavior score is 10,000 and the player variance is similiar. Like did something happen with the Dota community or matchmaking that I'm unaware of? Are more tryhard good personalities on FACEIT?
