Is Necro mid actually good? in General Discussion
ETd

10% pickrate with 53.4% winrate in Legend according to the "meta" statistics here on DB, then I checked his "lane" presence, 26.21% of the games he's picked he goes mid, with a 55.85% winrate. Sadly I don't have DB+, so I can't filter meta stats by faction, lane, etc.

Is this hero actually good in this lane even in higher levels, or is it only working against my fellow Legend scrubs? Or is it more like "yeah he's fine mid, but there are better options by going offlane and giving another hero that midlane" scenario? I kinda want to know if there's a cutoff to spamming this hero as much as I'm doing right now. I pick him against literally anyone except Shadow Fiend.

correction: SF and Pugna. Even shit like TA, Storm, Skywrath, Tinker, QoP hasn't really bothered me, when I think they should be?

i only like necro mid against tanky melee heroes like dk, sometimes kunkka although kunkka can become a problem in lane vs you.

        ReHa

He is a strong midlaner but not flashy or fun.
You cant rotate and gank heroes unless your reaper is up.

TA, Qop, Pugna, and Sky should be difficult if they play their heroes right.

sky is a shit midlaner, u might die to him once as necro but sky lacks the mana sustain to bully you out constantly so if u get like a wand + raindrop or cloak or smth, maybe a bracer, you should be good

                thanks for reminding me.

a lot of chinese players build blademail necro.

i think going veil-drum-blademail-radi could be good, will experiment.

My build is usually 2 stats items(either bracer or null), wand, then blademail-greaves-pipe, then either lotus or aghs.

I was trying out phase boots and treads before, but I'm really reaching for physical attack damage that I don't need. Same with radiance. I also tried working out games with dagon, force staff, and rod, but I feel like the team and personal utility of greaves-pipe is just much better.

treads is just good for regen effeciency and tread switching and stuff, and you do right click a fair amount in the early game, phase is for mobility and armor. its not always just about right clicking damage tbh

                    Sir

                      its really good actually!
