and hello, fellow ursa player
why SB on ursa, isnt blink a better item?
I like to rush brown boots into drums, morbid and then get a min 10-12 blink dagger.
Doto gives u chill if u just play it lul. Ur memory doesnt increase just that way. It actually take some space of ur brain tho.
Anything that requires u to use ur brain does exercise it in some way, including playing games. Just not in significant amount.
dota teach me how to become patient and not to argue with other players cuz you know that everyone has its on vision on how to win the game and if he starts flaming just ignore him and play they way u wanted.(im playing in sea, im also cancer player once :) ) applied in real life and makes me feel better.
think advance on what would ur enemy team trying to do..and counter it
Actually it quite opposite. Smarter brain made you easier to learn dota.
It more easy for people with good math to understand how tread switching work. What is the best skill to pick up first.
Better brain also make you understand lot of mechanic easier. Sure, reaction and instinct have nothing todo with brain. But it can be trained through practice
It doesn't, and it does.
If you play on the auto-pilot you might even get dumber. If you constantly think, and explore the game it benefits the brain.
Dota 2 teach me that no matter how evil something/someone is good side will always have more win rate than dire.
Dota 2 turns intelligent people in knuckle dragging troglodytes whose critical thinking skills devolve into grunting like an ape and rolling their face on their keyboard
i never say that understanding tread switch = good math.
i said it is easier for people with good math to understand tread switch than people that suck at math.
"why you fucking tread switching, i don't fucking understand"
before backpack release, i used to drop my mana item before using arc boots and my 1k friend with bad math asked
"i don't fucking understand why u drop ur mana item before using arc", sure we can explain him that we gain more mana that way.
Einstein didn't play dota. So no!
But Elon Musk is trying to developed OpenAI and play dota.
I read somewhere that gamers have a better reaction time than none gamers. There is one situation i think it might be helpful, when driving. If something appears on the road a "gamer" might react faster.
Very simple, if u have rigid thinking in dota, u probably have lower intelligence. Item builds all can be tailored with proper gameplay if ur good/smart.
It thought patience to some people (Just try not to be toxic when someone is)
It thought you to be calm at hard situations (we always have a hard game)
It Improves Awareness (We are Thorough, well at least some)
It Improves Reaction Time (We value milliseconds than non-gamers)
It Improves your Deduction/Prediction
According to studies average size of dota 2 players penis is 4x times bigger than non-players.

It decreases your English proficiency considerably...
It’s taught by the way.
It's stupid that you'll learn proficient English in Dota. Most of the time, people speak grammatically incorrect usage of the language but it taught me to use acronyms as a way of expressing what you want. Terms such as "push","care" or "stack" are more commonly used in these kinds of game because it's quicker to express an idea and has been universally interpreted by the community. As far as I've played the game for the past 5 years, I've learned to be more decisive and efficient reflex-wise. Obviously, interacting with people who are toxic in the game will be a bit more of a stressful game rather than being a fun one.
Here is some source material about gamers and reaction time.

About intelligence and video gaming i dont think there is any correlation, you could be stupid as a brick but good reaction time and fast fingers. Overthinking situations might be good to solve long term problems but in short term i dont think a 130 IQ player has the upper hand over a 101 IQ player. (I think the average IQ is somwwhere around 101 IQ.) Also when it comes to games revolving around teamplay a high EQ should be regarded as a resource.
You honestly assume there is no correlation between intelligence and gameplay? In dota both mechanics and intelligence are important, I don't think any of the pro-players are "stupid as a brick".
I meant high intelligence and stupid as a brick was a poor choice of words.
I dont know the IQ of the average dota player or the IQ of the top 1-2% of the players i just assume that hard work and dedication is what makes the difference.
And then we have what we call "natural talent" if its about kicking a ball or playing video games or painting, i dont know how you transfer IQ to that.
So mentally rekt youngsters in this forum all they can do is to copy paste. Pretty sad if our next generation get so dumb by playing dota.
SCIENCE..
Peeps or all creeds and races hear me! Chanter of the distant thunder...
There is place at dawn that only lights if the high moon has gathered energy.. It is the place where darkness meets light..
A long time forlorn in a land of devastation a membrance brought forth in the light of heracy.. When a time of evil is present only one person can save us all...
just read scince, philosophical books already... i know a lot of good dota players yet they are not that intelligent or smart. and know some bad dota players who are very and very intelligent but from what i understood high IQ people are easily bored they would not strive to climb, they would be bored of it already, only books written by highly intelligent people or big philosophical question would satisfy their boredom... just look at top dota players they are just talented at dota nothing more,, just hang out with them and u will see.... they would mostly discuss about irrelevant MEMEs and some useless shit rather than highly intelligent peoples topics....
so just go read books

I mean its not a "easy" game, i have 3k hours and i pretty much know every name of every hero, every name of every item, i bet that must have increased my memory rite ? anything else dota 2 does beneficial for the brain ?
