I can understand the idea behind dropping Matu though. He’s a stable core but rarely pushes the envelope. So yeah he will rarely mess up but having him as a core can make your draft more predictable and counterable.
I was reflecting on my own play as a safe and stable support main, that I need to incorporate more aggression and forcing of mistakes, if I’m going to keep improving. Playing safe and stable will only get you so far in this meta.

B. Windrunner core is pretty strong and if you have good farm it’s pretty simple to dominate. If you’re a support and you play that way you’re gonna melt though.
