I play ~90% of my games in ranked as riki (arround 4.7k). I prefer the pos 4 cause you can just walk from lane to lane try to get kills. On your mmr it should be easy climbing cause ppl dont get that much dusts & force. pos 3 works aswell just get diffu asap and then walk arround try to get some kills on the map.
Pos1 could work aswell i just dont like that - way too much time hitting creeps instead of enemys.
Helping your supp's get deep wards up is always nice or force him to team up with you (smoke).
If the enemy just spams sents everywhere dont counter spam - just get your diffu and enjoy killing ppl with no items cause they spent all the money on sents.

People get plenty of detection in the mid 3k bracket, but they tend to skip force staves.

trash hero. does nothing in the laning stage most of the time, then is bad to play from behind.

I used to play the hro quite a lot but for a while now its basically a guaranteed disastrous laning stage and most of the time in 3k mmr a lost laning stage is a lost game

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of sups building force staff or a carry to build hurricane pike when appropriate to counter his ult.
On a side note, I'm quite liking the look of the Warlock & Riki laning combo, with Warlock sacrificing levels in fatal bonds to pump a few levels into Upheavel.

Early Upheavel + Tricks of the Trade = Fun times.

@[ZT] Piccolo haha im more into riki+grim combo, its just so very strong as u can still slow ppl with ur ult and 1st, but u also have almost guaranteed ink swell max stun with riki :)

Riki is a noob stomp hero. As skill levels rise he becomes less effective. However with that said, PUBs are always unorganized and anything can work well if you are good enough with it.
