Chess is far too RNG based.
I had a game yesterday where I just 2 items by round 15, a ring of regen and a quarter staff. Another guy got 8 items from the same rounds.
poker is far too rng based, i had a game yesterday where some guy had a flush and I only had a straight. nerf aces please.
yet professional poker players make money consistently. just because randomness exists doesn't mean you have absolutely zero control over it and that you can't make calculated decisions that end up more in your favour than not in the long run.
Chess master race, dota shit game until they change fucking deny mechanic so people can play other heroes than handful of strong laners only!

There's no way I beat someone 7-0 on my board and lose to 0-7 on their board in same round, wtf even.
Isnt the rng factor what makes autochess good?
Dota matchmaking is rng-based too though
Dota chess players are usually the guys who like watching their gf/wife get plastered by 4 bbcs

Dota=trash mates every game.
Chess= ez wins because it’s a solo game and people are so shit at it such ez ranks.
Dota=game of who gets more ranged denies and xp where u get crutches in the pick phase to make it ez mode.
Chess=rng management. Draft knowledge
Dota=cheese picks for ez early game, or farm to carry games.
Chess=Draft knowledge, placement knowledge, forecast skills.
