Legend 5 is wrong, it was before legend 5.... With party you can maximum become ancient 5, they changed it.
I jumped from legend 5 to divine 1 in 1 game a month ago or something, so I think they came with a change. And i've only played party since the medal system came

I took a break off dota from december-february I play some unranked and started playing ranked again I drop from 3.3k-3.1k (no surprise considering the time I took off.) I win a game and I'm promoted from legend 5 to ancient 0. Ever since the medal system I have always consistently had a higher medal than other people my mmr. Why is that? Most people in my range are archon 5 - legend 3.
Edit: the last time I asked this people said it's because my party mmr. But last I checked party can only get you up to legend 5. I am now ancient 0 which is why I ask.
