it will be harder for account sellers to sell newly calibrated accounts at 4.8-5k.
Those bots that we see in watch tabs are mostly calibrated @ 4.9x k
Now it seems to be limited to 3.5k at most.
In this case boasting will become more popular while the price of the high mmr account is incrase due the high demand and low quitity

Winning has nothing to do with mmr change in calibration matches. I tested this myself, you can lose all 10 games (although it's unlikely if you play well, but theoretically) and still play in higher avg mmr than your first calibration match was.
Actually is some thread I read that if you play really well but still lose the match ,you will be more likely to be put in higher MMR. I don't remember the thread. I will try to find.

after getting highest kda and max hero dmg for his team in last 3.5k average match,
his next match he is still getting 3.5k average.
seems now they have limited it to 3.5k.

so some games in 3k will be based on luck ; where is winning a game is based on rng that depends if there is an account seller calibrating a fresh account on my team or on in the other team

that could limit acc buyers because if the limit was 3.5k-4k who the fuck would buy it. now this leads to acc sellers to play more games and that will lead to raising the acc prices which leads into less people buying accounts. and in that case I dont care.
I agree with this calibration as I feel new players probably won't really make it over 3k anyways the only point of the higher calibration cap is for people who know how to play and want to abuse the system as a way to get higher mmr without working for it. I believe 4k cap is reasonable.
Why unfair ? I think it's fair if someone is not smurfing.
Imagine a new player that will callibrate for the first time. How realistic would it be for him to have higher skill than 3.5k ? 3.5k max callibration is fair and its a realistic highest possible callibration number that a new player could callibrate after few hundred games.
If someone is callibrating over 3-3.5k %100 its a smurf acc

if this is true, this will force the majority of 3ks into 2k, because 3k will definitely become the new 4k
