tranqs are better for everything besides killing people and farming. sometimes you can blink crush and run away with unbroken tranqs which is cool. they also let you stay on the map more obviously and slardar likes a bit of armor

i like treads because in 2v2 and 3v3 fights slardars manfight is a serious threat post lvl 15. i love that i can threaten picks with SB in a low avg game because it creates a shitton of map advantage for my team with an item thats already fantastic on the hero

i dont have normally time for more than 2 games a day (except weekends) and i get tilted very easily

Honestly with 2 points in sprint and tranqs windlace slardar is easily the fastest hero on the map at that point. Also wud u play slardar with blink + force but then with his talents transition into a carry with an ac + sb or something? Like in my slardar games i wud go armlet after blink, but i realized he isnt spooky enough at right clicking that early (maybe im doing something wrong), so now im at this dilemma of playing a more initiator supporty role or becoming more of a magnus by buying right click items later on.

i hate armlet (its probably good but i hate it)

tread drop wands plenty of mana with swapping. blink -> force is great and basically standard i think. blink shadow blade and ias talent is enough to make you a serious threat. in an easy game i can go silver edge. in a tough game i need bkb usually, i might even go blink force bkb

utility fish is VERY good, this game i play support slardar and u can see how high impact the buffed solar crest is

Ye ive been seeing a lot of support slardar in pros. But when u buy bkb before sb or something dont u use it more to be able to escape to reinitiate, cuz tbh with just bkb he never seemed like a right click threat, cept to the supports. However with the talents he can still hit hard no?

sometimes you pop bkb and run because you must to live, then you can blink stun and run later even if ur very low

sometimes you pop bkb and run at people. this lets you abuse your low stun cd.

slardar has ok dps and can kill supports in a couple seconds (in reality they kite u ghost force etc) but the real value is that he can super anticarry a lot of heroes with his bash and stun and magic immunity, OD is a big one and you can just amp and smack sf if he bkb ults and you have bkb

So lvl 25 u take the bash talent then right? Also what do u think abt late midas on the hero? Ive seen it a lot on nyx and slardar.

basing on a long term observation of the best dota players around the globe and their habits, i declare that in order to get better you need to watch anime

no i take str because hitting longer and for more damage > bash chance in my opinion in the vast majority of games

late midas is very good but i dont get it because id rather buy an item that snowballs me via being better in fights that funneling me gold/xp at the cost of being almost useless
