When game goes bad and you have slots for it usually
However...
I buy two wraith bands on Sniper and it worked great in NS because of farm contest in lane
Didn't Aquila because I'm not Aura hero
I was theory crafting for Morph and Aquila+WraithBand was really nice too, I feel solid and bulky at early-mid game
I suppose if farm doesn't goes well and you are expecting a hard gank and you don't have enough gold for a component of core item
You can set cheap wraith band components as quick buy
well you will surely fall off if you don't sell the wraith band as you need to use your 6th slot lol
2x wraith band is almost always unnecessary, especially with early game items like helm and shit with gr8 build up.
why would i get early game items like that when i can just buy clarity -> hotd
unless you absolutely need basi aura for some asinine reason
What i meant was helm buildup (headress, gloves of haste) as early game items. But isnt a helm/drums an early game item? 4Head
ever since dragon lanec was introduced, you just get two bands instead of another wraith band, because it actually builds into a core item for most agility heroes
ever since dragon lanec was introduced, you just get two bands instead of another wraith band, because it actually builds into a core item for most agility heroes
another excellent reason you shouldnt do this antiquated shit
Two wraith bands are almost always a bad thing, however can't forget those rare cases where your team can't really grant you safety (that usually means your team is sub-par to begin with), so enemy tries low-moderate effort ganks on you permanently. The stats from them can make the difference between life and death in those cases.
i would think you could simply buy a fast wand + raindrop, then windlace, then u would be up shit creek but try for a fast hotd for a creep based save (centaur, satyr purge)
+3 str is not very much hp, at that point buy a damn fairy fire. not a 500 gold stat stick you will sell in 18 minutes
You're right, but there will always be the few cases where it will work in your favor, especially when you have the chance of turning the situation aggressive.
That's 18dmg, 12 attack speed, 120 hp and almost 2 armor for you. Probably will suck 90% of the cases, but it's not absolutely horrible in a game where you know you're gonna clash often before you could start farming.
i guess ill only do this on riki. much strong, such power!
got this idea from a 7.xx pro game btw (sniper)
OP did you saw that from Cloud9 game, where 7ckngMad was Standin and he played Sniper with that early bulky build with treads too?
Seems legit on squishy ones.
Idk why riki would need hp over just getting agi items. Sniper makes a little more sense in a way if you want to build tank sniper, go manta/s&y, then skadi or something, but even then a dragon lance is more sraightforward.
Why tf wud u ever buy sny on sniper? Like fucks sake just buy a skadi. Even agility is slowly becoming less necessary on riki cuz the way he has been played is prioritizing dmg and applying orbs thru his ulti. The attack speed from agility is a tad (not saying agi is 100% bad on him) wasted cuz his ulti attack speed is fixed. So getting a diffusal deso maelstrom with oov on him means u can slow, lower armor, and mana burn in the aoe, with the chance to proc lightnings. The maelstrom is a little fucking deep on the strat, but honestly, you dont need to build shit like butterfly, or yasha, or aquila, or treads even. Phase gives better positioning for that ulti and more dmg whilst in it.
Btw deso reduces armor and diffusal mana burn is physical dmg so there is clear synergy PogChamp

i mean you get 2 wraith bands and you upgrade boots as you make one wraith band into a RoA. how good is it? i see it being done by skilled players on many heroes such as weaer, sf, sniper but i think myself about doing this on a riki as it gives him some great damage in the early game. or is it in general not worth it (not just riki, but is it good enough to do every game)?
