not very efficient. people could just troll and spam sentries and tps. We already have modifiers for wards bought.
nah i think its a good idea to have these tatical consumables show in the stats.
people hardly buy wards or sentries in games anyway so im sure they are not gonna spam sentries just for following their passions for stat-whoring.
Given that the rate of Observer wards is capped anyway, if people tried to buy them to whore stats it would actually improve the quality of play. You couldn't just buy 100 at the end to mess with the stats.
Same can't be said for other consumables, though...
people would start to buy them even more often like when ward skins came out, everyone was buying them even carrys!

Its not all about buying wards, you have to place them properly since there is cd on buy. I can see this already.. some smart guys wasting wards coz of stats..
this was shown in dota 1 and hon, did not notice anyone trying to abuse it cus...most of the time no one gives a shit about wards and supports

Don't know if there are topics with same proposal - I think it will be great if a column with stats of how many such "tactical" consumables were bought by each person during the game will be added to dotabuff.
