Biography

Alexey "Solo" Berezin is a Russian support player for Virtus.pro. Solo is famous not only for his high level of play and captaining one of the most dominant teams Dota has seen, but also for the 2013 scandal in which he allegedly bet $322 against his own team. 322 became a meme used during bad plays.

Solo has long since redeemed himself as a player thanks to his leadership on Virtus.pro. He’s been their captain since 2016. The squad dominated the 2017-2018 Dota Pro Circuit season and performed well in the 2018-2019 season. Solo’s signature heroes include Disruptor, Shadow Demon, and Bane.
