So, as axe i lane against spec. My teammates keeps calling me p*ssy cuz i dont wanna cut the lane. I didnt do it cuz i have a bad experience cuting a lane against a solo spec so i decided to play normal laning style n i destroyed tht spec n occasionally lc tht thinks she can help spect. Going strong to the mid game n my lane match up only able to get a power thread by 13 min. Then the chat starting to flame me saying its all my fault for not cutting the lane. But the problem with their statement is tht we are losing cuz i didnt cut the lane... the way i see why we lost is the mid jug got fed by our roaming bh. There was no push what so ever. Going to the late game i was overwhelmed by all those physical dmg from the enemy while my team have no item what so ever, when i jump in the follow up dmg was so weak tht i just die for nothing. So this is the way i see the game. I wish for somebody to tell me was my decision at fault or not n what have i could done better?

        fishy boi

          You tried

          psy·che·del·ic

            you did fine man.

Your bh had 17 deaths no one can blame this on you.

Only time you shouldn't cut creeps is when you are against a trilane

if they dont have suports who can nuke you down with magic, you can cut creeps.

as axe u want to force people to react to u, buy urself n obs ward n put it near enemy safe lane tower jungle so u can see if they r coming to help , that way u can back off in time, or make good decisions.

rush tranquils n pull till u are low, regen with the boots, go ba ck in,

u want to force enemies to react to u and threaten the tower. if u succeed then the supports couldnt help in other lanes and ur enemy begins to tilt

Actually u should have done that to put pressure on enemy and make space for carry in a way 1073 explained above. Enemies cant deal well with pressure till like 5k mmr.

But its not your fault. But ofc u could do better. We all can in every game.

Besides on normal skill its always other poeple's fault. Dont bother quarelling with them, just mute. Its pointless, people never see or accept their mistakes. Only when u are approaching 5k people are actually sorry for mistakes, more kind, and games go on.

He did fine, the problem was afterward, and that's a common problem with almost all axe player (and that's actually the main problem of axe) :
You have to not give kill, or very very few, else you fall behind super fast and become none factor.

The thing to choose if you have to cut or not are :
                • can i do it ?
                • will i farm more ?
                • will opponent farm less ?
                • is it better to farm a bit more thx to extra time (so going to neutral between wave) or is it better to put extra pressure on the lane. ([very important for a snowballer]).

The thing here, they have 4 core, so you did the right choice, this is why :
                • you can do it
                • you will farm more
                • opponent will farm more (assuming he can last hit under tower xD) -that negate point 2, especially since heroes that can cut don't scale that well-
                • Since they are 4 core, they will not have enough creep for all of them, so you render one of them useless if he doesn't get anything from the lane.

The only bad thing : You don't have enough deny for som1 who didn't cutted the lane. You denied gold from spectre, but not that much xp (from what i can read of your scoreboard).

If you want an example of a case in which you'd have to cut the wave :
                You play axe versus clinkz.
                • you can cut
                • you will farm more
                • opponent will farm as much (or mb less due to random damage tick of tower that are sometime very bad)
                • you can put almost no pressure on clinkz in 1v1 case, but he can put it on you if you lane classically, so basically, cutting the wave will just give you extra xp / gold from the neutral.

In that case you change a full lose situation to an all green.

                I am 322 ! I am NOT DDZ !

if you are 1v1 the best imo is you play normal supression lane, stacking pulling the hard camp, once its 3 stacked you can keep pulling the hard camp into your wave every 30s and tanking lane with roh stout and best scenario spectre gets 0 gold 0 exp
then you clear the megastack once u have vg, then play the normal cutlane style
