Game avg mmr determines skill bracket, not your individual mmr. it's still <3200 norma, 3200-3700 high, >3700 vhs
yes im talking about average guys. 3.18k average = high skill. then 3.2k+ avg = normal skill. englighten me
its not connected with mmr this way, afaik its based on the percentile of matches, and the rating barrier floats over time. 3.2 and 3.7k are only approximations. the exact threshold changes every time.
3.1, you might be able to worm your way into high skill games (usually start at 3250) and if you're 3.6, it's not uncommon to sometimes get into very high skill games either. (usually starts at 3.7)

Where'd you get that info? Never heard of it.
Is it possible for some games to "change" skill bracket? Some of my recent games were placed in "high skill" (when I checked statistics after game) and when I logged on dotabuff next day, those games changed to normal skill.
I think it will happen to my last game as well (cuz people there were really bad)
edit: OK, my last match just changed skill hs-> ns. I even have a screen of that match being placed in HS xD. Some1 knows why is this happening?
My guess is that a lot of ppl lost mmr so the threshold was lowered based on percentile. In any case, a major point is that I can testify that high skill is dogshit. I don't know a thing about dota and I'm so shit at it and yet I'm in high skill bracket. This game is tuff
