His Q and passive were buffed. Overall he was buffed in every patch since 6.84. About time for him to actually be popular....
there is a new way to paly this hero now, that seems pretty strong - basically ppl put only 1 point in w and max reactive armor and whirling death afterwards.
^ He was already getting popular before miracle picked it. He's good because Q and R got buffed as well as bloodstone and he's just insane against this meta aka strength heroes fucking everywhere.
Timbersaw whirls extremely sharp edges, damaging enemies and destroying trees around him in an area. If an enemy hero is affected, it loses some of its primary attribute for a short duration. Whirling Death will deal Pure damage if a tree is cut down in the process.

he absolutely shits on spec/slark/melee carries lanes. he'll kill you in 2 Q's, a W and maybe 3 hits for the entire lane unless you get strong supports (which you won't b/c jungle lc is too good i guess). Honestly intl. queue is 90% luck of the draw teams... sometimes you get 3k players sometimes you get 7k.
apparently i was wrong, cz maxing reactive armor covers one´s inability to actually play the hero and makes him efficient without much effort/skill

how much armor can u get rn at lvl 7? 30 or some shit? with 20 hps regen
having 4 points into dk passive on lvl7 also means you are tanky af even without any1 hitting you, but why would u do it
because it allows you to free farm and regen I guess.. I had decent success with 3-4 pts at lvl 7 as timber, but y im a noob timber so take it with a grain of salt

His stronk vs high hp tanky heroes this patch is about tankiness and hp so thus his better.

Also ppl play whatever their pustar play so miracle play it then they play it.

And ye he got a few buff but so did a lot of heroes so....
