They come with a premium for a reason. Design means a lot. Ventilation, weight, resistance to damage, water, short circuits, battery quality. Everything's counted.
Some are worth the money for reasons but the vast majority aren't. If I had to recommend any gaming laptop it would have to be either Lenovos', MSI's, or maybe a select number of Dell XPS.
I think some of the key features they boast can actually be more of a hindrance, they usually have bigger batteries which add life time to it but will also add a ton of weight, and yield a bigger adapter you gotta carry around with you.
A bigger screen though again this is weight which you may/may not be ok with. You need to ask yourself how much all the extras mean, or how much you value them.
Are you going to move around a lot with your gaming laptop? Yes = Get a smaller one. If you get a big one you'll be sick of lugging it around within a couple months and when using it on the bed for light reading, or movie watching it will just be a hot/heavy mess. Trust me I had one and sold it for a smaller one after like a couple months cause it just got too much.
With a laptop you got to accept that games will be of a lesser quality than a desktop even the high spec ones. If you want serious power get a PC, if you like the perks of a laptop then get a laptop that actually uses those perks (e.g. mobility, lightness, cool etc) don't grab a £2k monster that's just gonna be a burden.
As an additional point, really expensive gaming laptops are hard to sell and usually lose a massive part of their value because people are desperate to sell them so will drop their prices drastically to shift them. I cycle through a laptop a year, and again, like my components can shift them for marginal loss in cost which allows me to get a new one for almost the same price.
And you just disregarded every point I made in my post which would apply to your offered laptop.
Also it wouldn't be double, no. Maybe 1200 dollars. Even though I got mine for 750. Alienware tho, I'm not advocating for them as their prices are really inflated and their designs are pretty shitty. A friend has one – wouldn't suggest buying another one.
I would wanna be able to play dota on almost best setting and actually be able to do stuff like recording, rendering stuff like corel and adobe premiere (my pc isnt close to rendering power) and recording while playing. And i dont actually mind a weak battery on a laptop but i dont want something thats just immediately out of charge (most of the time it's gonna be on charge anyways)
About the screen i want it to be my main bc i wanna carry it between my uni and home and i cant bring an extra monitor and remember it's still for gaming/graphic works
I dont rly know if rog/alienware/specialized for gaming laptops are the choice bc price does matter (up to 1300$ or something like that) and i want it to be the best in that price range

2nd one: i need to visit atleast 3 doctors in ~2 weeks, because my current threatment is only hurting me more than helping, so i need to either downgrade somehow with the help of some additional stuff, or i nede to get stronger meds so i can breathe freely, instead of coughing 24/7
I watched almost all of my serials when they were finished or almost finished or at least when the season was ending
I dont do 1 ep at a time i watch the whole thing
